Runmotivated with No Boundaries 5K Training!

SPRING 2010 PROGRAM: March 30 - June 5, 2010

Whether you're a beginner or have run a few 5Ks, join us this spring to train for a 5K with No Boundaries. Sponsored by New Balance and Fleet Feet Sports, the program is designed to help you cross the finish line in 10 weeks.

Along the way, we’ll be providing you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, and weekly group training runs or walks. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!

We will have an Information Session and Orientation on March 23 at 6:00 p.m. for anyone who wants to learn more and for registered participants who want to pick up their training packets.

Program: We will offer a beginners learn-to-run training program. The beginners program will be a run/walk program and participants must be able to walk at least a mile without stopping to participate.

Registration: Registration is now available in the store through March 30.

Group Runs: We will meet to run twice a week: on Tuesdays at 6:15 p.m. AND Saturdays at 8:00 a.m.

Training Dates: Training will begin on March 30 and continue through the goal race. Our target race is the Virginia Highlands Summerfest 5K on June 5.

Cost: $75 for training session (includes coaching, training tips, free technical t-shirt and more). Price does not include race registration.
